van tips
Our first caravan was a 2012 Jayco Flamingo. She was in our family for 4 years and she took us all around Outback NSW, Queensland, East Coast of Victoria and many weekend trips down the NSW South Coast. We absolutely loved her! The long bench space, the light, compact build and her grit! We sold her to a loving young family in Victoria in 2021, just after the ghastly COVID lockdowns were ending in October.
We paid a deposit for our Great Aussie 21'6 Tribal Xplora in April 2021. The highly anticipated journey had begun after we were told there was a 12 month wait. Between a change of dealers, delayed parts, discontinued lines, staff shortages, more lockdowns and interrupted shipping freight, our 13 month wait came to an end and we couldn't be more stoked! Good things come to those who wait hey! We had her in our hot little hands June 2022.
After many kilometres spent in both vans, we have some van tips and tricks to share with you.
